Clay Roses

I’ve been playing, really. Making roses out of various types of clay. I say clay but some of it has been €1 play clay from Flying Tiger. And some has been airdough from Evans.

The technique is simple, picked up from Pinterest. Four (or more) clay disks of equal diameter, laid overlapping, rolled, pressed at the centre and cut. Voila: two roses.

Here’s a few pics …

Airgdough from Evans. Couldn’t roll it thinly enough really
OK. Sort of. A bit thick.
Thinner but rougher.

Making progress with my macrame.

This is all a bit dry. Sorry about that. I can be moody.
