The work-related mayhem continues. But the end of the year is in sight. It’s been a good year, to be honest. The Irish Board of Speech and Drama has grown. Thanks to Vicky, we’ve made some major changes in the way the exams are administered, and these changes have been well-received. The Irish Board of Dance Performance has more than doubled in size. May is just a difficult month for a variety of reasons.

I have been determined to stick to my resolution, however, even if it’s just a quick sketch or ten minutes strumming a musical instrument. That’s my meditation: my way of switching off, clearing my mind and staying positive.
