As I want to use that wooden spoon, I treated it with stuff called Tung Oil. It’s non toxic and doesn’t go rancid like other oils. Here’s the spoon, Tunged, so to speak. The oil brings out the grain in the wood which is pleasing.

The Labneh that I started yesterday has done its 24 hours in the fridge and this is what it now looks like …

It tastes great. Like Philadelphia cream cheese but a bit tangier. Edward put it on a bagel with smoked salmon and pronounced it good. That’s good enough for me.

That’s my hummus on the one in the right.

I may make Baba Ganoush later.
